At Tarzan’s Safe Haven, my heart is devoted to animals who need more than a temporary stop on their journey. Our focus is hospice care and support for animals with special needs — the ones often overlooked because of medical challenges, behavioral struggles, or simply because they need a safe, peaceful place to rest in their final days.
These babies mean everything to me. Each one is an individual soul deserving of love, patience, and understanding. I open my doors and my heart to those who may never have a chance at adoption, because they still deserve comfort, security, and kindness.
Whether their time with us is a few weeks, months, or longer, their days will be filled with warmth, gentle care, and compassion. They will know safety. They will know love. And they will be treated with the dignity every innocent life deserves.

About Us

I love working with special animals that need care different from most. Medical, Behavioral or Disability, these babies deserve a chance to thrive in an environment where they can be themselves and be cared for in a loving secure place.

Nothing warms my heart more than earning the trust of a scared, challenged and innocent animal. Our goal and hope is to provide them with everything possible. There is no greater reward than being able to care for a sick fur baby during their last stage of life. The feeling of loss always breaks our hearts when we do lose a precious soul. But our desire is to focus on what we can share with them to make their lives fantastic while they are with us. Them living their best quality of life and their loving memories makes it worth everything.

We work solely off of donations from the generosity of people like you. Veterinarian care is our biggest and most important expense. Everything from deworming and normal shots to spay/neutering to major medical issues and surgical procedures are our responsibility to all of these fur-babies. If a financial donation is not feasible, please consider a product donation. Our go to brand is in parentheses but everything is more than appreciated.
